my dads 65 lemans 326 4speed bucket seat car..... man is this a nice car too........ completely rust free and a perfect body..... (sorry, only pic ive got)
Mom rolls an '08 IMpala. Dad drives a 2wd standard cab sportside Silverado. Boring. At least the truck is right wheel drive.
Dad drives a Dodge Cummins. Mom drives a Chevy Avalanche. She'd really love to have a Tall 'T'. Dad's trying to get the 52 Ford runnin again and he also drives his 40 Ford from time to time.
My Dad's toys... The black MGA is a 1962 Twin Cam Deluxe, less than 300 made. Almost finished a ground up restoration. The silver one is a 356C replica and it wears it's Intermeccanica badges with pride. Dad has owned, raced and beat the shit out of real Porsches so he's got nothing to prove. At 74 years of age he likes air conditioning and a stereo.
O/T here, but this is my Dad's car parked behind my Chevy II. I'm 36. He turns 62 in January. He bought a no-option '70 Chevelle hardtop w/ a 307 in 1970. His first new car. He would have loved the SS396 'vert back in those days, but just couldn't swing the payment. 20 years later, he found a very rough Malibu convertible and built the car he could not afford back then.
My dad's 50 Ford Business Coupe and 37 Ford Pick-up (Project) with my 31 Ford Tudor sandwiched in between.
Dad's '50. And his bike. He got the bug a few years ago for another bike. Seeing that he's 65 now a rigid was the obvious choice
Dad's junk..... I'm missing a few of them....there's another BBC 66 impala, and his latest 31 Chevy cabroliet, and a 32 Chevy 5 window body also.... Too bad he doesn't drive them. white vette, off the road since 72, red vette off the road since 85, blue (factory 427/4 speed/ SS) off the road since early 90's. maroon 66 (factory 396, auto SS) off the road since the early 90's, 38's been off the road about 4 years now, 34's a project but could run with a good weekend of work, owned it 3 years now done nothing to it. 92 mullet mobile was driven a few years ago...he's the original owner of that with 7K on it... he's kinda a horder of cars, but someday they will be mine! HAHA...in the last pic you can see the back of my old V8 Vega wagon!
My 71 year old mothers car ( a little infulence from me ) when dad was alive he had a 65 mustang Paul Jug
This is the best picture I could find of my dad's '53 F-100. It's all done now, and mom's '69 Mach 1 is on the rotisserie in that spot. It should see daylight in about 3 years. My dad does all his own work and has had his truck since he was 19. It's got a 429/4speed and a 9".
Im the black sheep in our family my dad rode in a city bus never liked cars thought they were a waist and caused polution.(early greenpeacer) Wanted everyone to ride the bus and ban private owned cars. We got along real well. For all you guys with parents that support you dont take it for granted thank your parents
Hey,I like corvairs I would like to see somebody build a front engine or mid engine early 60s corvair street freak/gasser with a straight axle and up in the air
