Here's a similar project that took place in San Jose, Costa Rica about 8 years ago. The C-123 cargo plane was shot down in Nicaragua during the Contra/Sandinista 1980's guerilla war and left for dead.

The plane was moved from the SJO Airport to Manuel Antonio...about 4 hours away. Now, it's a sweet place to grab dinner and a stiff drink after a long day in the jungle. Pura Vida!

Not to mention that it's basically a 'kit' car
28 Brookville body, Pinkees custom chassis, 5 inch Superbell drop axle, SoCal disc brakes, Walker Rad, new corvair steering box, Currie 9 inch rear end, Pete and Jakes ladder bars with quarter eliptile springs. New 1932 headlights. The list goes on and on

I could have bought all those parts and assembled my kit wrapped around a hemi with a 350 turbo tranny, anybody could have.

It looks neat, the paint is what's in style for these days including the pinstripping.
And in general what's not to like about the car? I even like the wires and the stance.
But I have seen many people here suggest that certain cars are not hamb friendly because they have disc brakes.

Disc brakes or kit car or not, The car is still bitchin. 28 Wire Wheels? Hamb firendly? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and rules are made to be bent

The 29 roadster is a far cry form being what most of the HAMBers would considered a kit car.... My reply to the builder Nice Job and well done.... If you dont like a particular car I guess its your right to voice an opinion.. Now lets see some of your work....

Certainly tons of off the shelf parts but a far cry from a kit. Good luck tellin some Hambers that thier brookvilles are kit cars. I build em all bro and I know the differnce. Thanks for the good comments though(I think).
Now back to pic post already.
