    I swore the day that all the shit went down I was going to see some of those Banker douchebags jumping form the top of the Wachovia building. Nothing though.

    U haul is being loaded to soon head that way. Thanks to all that have made me feel more at ease with the residence change, I appreciate all your help!

    What places are right on W 7th street that are good / cool ?

    It's raining on the U haul in SC and the packing friends are afraid they will melt today. lol go figure, hopefully tomorrow there will be no rain and Monday NC will be sunny.

    My son took me to the Flying Saucer for beer. Hundreds of different brands.
    It was good.

    Flying Saucer is a chain. They are the same everywhere. I prefer the dive bars myself. What about the Milestone is that still there?

    I miss the 4808, Park Elevator, and 1313....

    Dec 1st the big day, U haul is unpacked and a new adventure in Charlotte begins, she has arrived.

    So what shows are in NC Charlotte area ? I need an excuse to visit now. She is unpacked, trying to learn her way around, and she is very impressed with the area she is on on 7th street. You guys thanks again for all your help. Fill me in on the shows there in 2009 please.

  18. Ya gotta make the GoodGuys event at the Speedway, too. Its usually the last weekend in October!

    Concord, Kannapolis, Lexington, all up and down I-85, has smaller spring and summer cruise-ins. Keep the link from Thall bookmarked, and keep a bag packed!

    There are enough cruise ins around here to have something to do every night of the week.

    Spring auto fair is a must attend.

    www.Rockabillybbq.com Hell raisin' good time.

    Goodguys packs it in.

    South 21 drive in on Independence is usually pretty good.

    Oakboro in the summer.

    Run to the Sun in Myrtly Beach in March.

    I gotta get out more, I haven't been to half of those restaraunts......

  21. Wow man! That issue is great. I hope now that you have a few connections here in Charlotte you'll be able to hit a few of the better shows around here.

    and there is a great dive bar called the Thirsty Beaver at central and hawthorne, there is also the Dimond rest. over on commonwealth right behind the penquin. that place has got some good fried chicken!!!
