Hot Rod TV marathon on Speed

Looks like theres a Hot Rod TV marathon on Speed TV until noon today - just a heads up.

 

watching Kenny Wayne spend big bucks on his O/T Charger. He can really make the guitar wail. Looking forward to seeing him at our local county fair next summer.

 

YEAH, just saw the one with the 2008 "AMERICAS MOST BEAUTIFUL ROADSTER winner..................POS!

 

Right now it's the Jordan Graham (Hamber 5wbomber) build.

With the dearth of real HotRod shows on the tube this is great. REAL HOT RODS no BS drama..just building a REAL CAR.

To be truly Old School, Jordan should be working in a 9 foot wide single garage....or in the driveway.

Seriously, though, this is way better watching than anything else that normally shows up on HotRod TV.

I liked the footage of Jordan driving w/ the Bulls in that field after he got the Roadster running!...They looked like Bulls to me

The Head skratcher build is by far my favorite. That show inspired me to locate Skratch to stripe my car. Cool guy,..has the eye for cool.

 

Ok, it's over! Get off your chairs and get to work in the garage!

 

Now..out to the garage...take a ride..it's 75 and sunny..then Football and my cars and cigars..and of course

Beer=good

 

It's 40 here. So I take it back. Everyone stay seated grab a drumstick off the turkey leftovers and keep watching tv. Oh, and have a beer.

 

Well it's 32 here. And i have a broken pelvis. So NO BEER OR GARAGE FOR ME. But i did see the show. Nice car. Wish there was more hot rod on.

 

Thanks guys, im actually in the middle of another show for hotrod, im restoring an old drag car....ill keep you guys up to date on it. should be on tv in 3 months....

I have to say that was a great show. I've watched it a couple of times now (DVRs are great). The only downside is that, with the exception of the mangled thumb, it looks too easy. I'm pretty sure I could make a mess of a build like that in record time(and enjoy every minute of it).
