1st real mock up

had to do a mock up to see where im at ,and now I cant wait to z it up.
I left the lifting strap on the cab so i can remove it easily and get it out of my way. Im doing this in a one car garage.

 

mock ups are fun,,,,

I am getting ready for a suicide front suspension, but Im making my own brackets to mount the hair pins to a 47 chevy axle that was originally a leaf spring setup, I plan to step the frame in the front to get 6 inches lower and z up 9" in the rear with a four link and air bags , still havnt found a bed (would love a 37 dodge bed) and I want to put a olds rocket in it with a 5 spd

 

I don't know if it will do you any good or not but there is a 38 Ford bed for sale over on the classified section.
