are camel hump heads worth anything?

    found a set at a yard sale with 2.02 intake valves
    are they worth anything? i dont have a sbc so it would be just to buy then sell

    Depends on casting number (look on valley side of intake runner, three digit number) usually will bring 100 bucks a pair at swap meet.

    If you want early heads for a detailed traditional install, sure. Performance wise, their time has passed. For what it costs to build up a set, you can buy several new options with better potential.
     

  5. depends on what they are casting wise,,set ya im check out the link...humper heads can be good money heads, just not a big deal i think here on the Hamb...too many sbc hate'ers....

    factory 2.02's? screw in studs or push rod guide plates? see what they came off of. LT-1's and DZ 302's had em, as did other high performance 60's cars.

    could be worth something to the right restorer.

  10. I sold my last set of 462s for $350 at a swap meet, but the guy was trying to build a numbers matching motor....had I known that in the beginning nmight have been able to squeeze another $100 outta him, LOL.
