Update on my son's condition

Let me first say thank you to all the prayers and support. I means a great deal to me. Unfortunately the news is not nearly as good as we had hoped for. On the positive side the doctors feel that got all of the remaining tumor. This came at a high cost however. My son finally opened his eyes today but has not yet able to speak and his right side is paralized. Only time will tell how long this will last and how much he regain. Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers,

I know this is hard as a parent , and being one myself..
hang in there, we are here for you and your son..
tuff to look at it this way, I am sure glad that he is still with you, these things can improve over time.

Hope he has a complete recovery. The brain is pretty amazing, can relearn a lot of stuff. Still praying for you all.

He is still in our daily prayers and I was thinking how he was doing just today. Nothing is impossible and we will continue to keep your boy and the entire family in prayer.

Rich, This is certainly not the news we were waiting for. I firmly believe that God still has his hand in this as he doesn't ignore the multitude of requests that have flowed to him on Rick's behalf. Stay strong for your family and stay close to them as a pillar of strength in this difficult time. There are times when it is a challenge to be the head of a family but its during those times you can show them your love and concern by just being there. It's fortunate that your not burdened with a job or schedule to keep you away from them at this important time. Everyone here remains concerned and ready to help in any way, just let us know how to be of help.
Sharon and I are willing to do anything necessary to see you and Marty through this. Just let us know.
