Flames and Stance are a perfect fit, but I also think that the blackwalls and five spokes look better than the whitewalls on your car...Either way it's Sweet!

As a fan of the '40 Ford I believe you have to WORK to make one look bad. In your case I don't detect a bad move in all of the 30 years you've owned it. Every rendition is spot on I'd park any version in my garage.

Happy anniversary! Great looking car (and garage). I just celebrated 36 years with my '40 Sedan last August.

Congratulations on your milestone, that's a good achievement considering lifes pressures over thirty years. I wish I still had my first car twenty two years later.
I much prefer the chromies and WWW's on your car.

LIKE the chrome reverse and white walls..........

LOVED the chrome 5 spokes ,but needs deep dish 5 spoke in the rear and

regular chrome 5 spoke on the front.....

I love the flames...........MAN.............I just love it period!

    BEAUTIFUL.............STUNNING.........Happy 30 more......

The 40 Ford coupe is one of my all-time favorites, and yours is one of the reasons why. Very Nice !

It is great either way. I'm a 5 spoke and blackwall guy. However your's looks good
either way. In my day it was Dueces and 40's!

Even though I'm not a fan of www tires on anything but customs, you have taken the stewardship of this fine car to heart and done your job well. You had a nice car and made it nicer, exceptional I should say for a 30 year journey together.
Congratulations, do you know how many miles you've driven the car since you got so so long ago?

  15. mannn!,that car is like red wine.

  16. Thanks for the kind words guys and gals, it's been a fun journey and one I hope doesn't end any time soon. The new look really does change the look of the car. I have always loved the 5 spokes and they will be back.......some day. I think I'll enjoy the new look for a couple of seasons.
Pasadenahotrod, to answer your question, I'm not really sure how many miles I've put on her. I'm on my third speedo and the second one was broken for many years but it was a cool old original SW wings gauge and I didn't want to take it out!:D My newest speedo has been in there for about 8 years and it has 41000 miles on it. I know I've put well over 100,000 miles on it over the years. Life is a highway, enjoy the journey!

They all look good as combos so use them all for a change of pace when you want.
