Not to put a downer on this thread; but some of you who regularly attended the Moonshine Festival may have known Larry LaPrade. He always had some nice 39 and 40 Fords and mid 60's Fords. He was in attendance there this past weekend, came home and passed away on Tuesday of a heart attack. Only 53.
When was that? Damn, I was just up there in that area last Saturday night. Went to the truck race in Atlanta and spent the night in Cartersville on my way to Pigeon Forge. Was just a week late for the bash in Canton .. missed all the way around .. damn .. !!!
Not to hijack the thread, but I took a few shots of cars not posted. It was my first year there, and I doubt if I'll ever miss it in the future.
Awesome! Haven't been to Dawsonville since Bill Elliott's NASCAR shop was up there. This is a good reason to come back. Nice pictures!
