roadster doors, shave or no?

I'm working on my 30 coupster, and up until today, the doors have been welded shut. They are trimmed at the beltline trim, and I cut them down vertically, to look more like a roadster door. I filled the stock door handle location.

Now the new bear claws are in place and working nicely.

So I did a search to determine where my new roadster handles should go. Do you know how hard it is to find a pic of a roadster with outside handles? Do a search, it's weird.

My car is traditional looking, sure enough, SO... should I reach over and pull, or install the outside handles? I'm just looking for a push in one direction or the other 'cause I like the way it looks BOTH ways!

I think it looks fine the way it is.
