Well my server finally seen fit to let me back on line this morning and this post is what I find. First I want to thank everyone much for all the super nice comments. Thanks, Thanks, Thanks .......... It feels great. Also like Straykatkustoms said ........thanks to Jerry and Devona Titus and all the KKOA Colonels for their hard work. They are the reason we were all in the same place at the same time with our customs. It was a great weekend and like El Jeje said "was it all a dream"? Well it really was all a dream to me .. one that come true!!

    Kustoms are absolutlely not dead!!!

and man those airstrip drags rocked ............ completely insane

Just got back today from the Stray Cats / Rumblejetts concert in KC Tuesday
night. Here are some of my pics of the show. I'll be posting pictures all
day. The Merc Wagon was way too kool and it had the Same effect on me
when I first saw Mike Young's Exotica the the Hirohata Merc. Yes it is that KOOL!!

Kan't wait to show you the picture of the LTD stay tuned.....

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

One of the Kustoms that hurt everybody was this shoebox Convert. Sorry,my Picture does not do the car justice.......Their were also Hot Rods athe the show and this one was one of the baddest that I've seen in awhile.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

One of the highlights of the weekend was meeting Dave McPhail. Years ago,
When I was introduced to the Kustom Hobby, the '53 Chevy pictured below was one of the cars that was way too kool. The Kemp has been not touched since the day I saw it for the first time The Paint was is good shape.

    More koolness..........

I believe Butch Tucker (out of Aridzona) owned the two-toned shoebox convert...

Dave Dolman out of Verndon, NE owned the Merc wagon...I saw that one in the back of his shop couple of years ago...the body was so bad, said to myself :Why would anyone want to attempt to redo this one...???" Dave is a never say never kinda guy...

You never know what you will see when you attend a KKOA show. The
wagon just whoooaa'd me. It is proof that everything hasn't been done
    to a Merc.

    Happy Trails,

Another one that caught my eye was this chopped green fastback. the rear
fenderwells were way too kool! Also this Gold Merc was Kool. She was one of the cleanest Mercs that I've every seen. I would change out the wheels and
lower it a bit, but it was kool to see a Merc done different then I'm used to.

    Happy Trails,

    Mick

Driving out to the show was a blast and driving back home was even better! Thanks, to everyone that came by the booth and said, Hi. Kansas is a beautiful state with some of the best people in the world, just work on that humidity problem and we can talk!
