ive seen more and more low hotrods with low perch mounts and extended front mounts for suicided spring shackles.. i almost did it but was worried about the stress and leverage to the wishbones.. now im curious what other opinions are on this subject or if its not something i should even be clouding my mind with...

is this not a valid thought..? if a 3 inch lever is applied to something, you would have more power in pushing it.. so if all the weight of a car is pushing outward on a wishbone adding a 3 inch lever would be pushing and twisting the wishbone 3 times as hard... if your car weighs 1500 pounds with a 3 inch extension it would be more like 4500 pounds..
