Wife had a total knee replacement last Sept, it was a bitch for a couple of months after, but the best thing she ever did.

I just had my knee surgery posponed due to failing a stress test. After getting three stents to take care of a blockage I'm now good to go . They are recheduling my replacements (getting both done at the same time) so I'm hoping to be back in shape around the first of the year.

Both of my Knees, one hip, and one shoulder are plastic and titanium. Plus parts in one ankle, 3 vert's in my back, pelvis, and one arm.... 8 pounds worth of "options" in my skeletal structure. .....Dont ride motorcycles boys and girls!!!

I'd tell you about the parts that "came out" of my body and splattered on the street, but I dont want you to not be able to eat breakfast this morning.

Good luck with it. Stay away from the pain killers as much as possible. Work thru the pain, and do what the doctor tells you.
