TMcCrea, you're one lucky dog! I much prefer the looks of Nikki over Linda. What ever became of her?

The amusement park is located (not to steal Edsels58's thunder) just SE of Cleveland Ohio.

Shut and largely abandoned in 1978. Most of the larger stuff was just left. Last time I visited there there was still most of a, shoot, I forget what it was called but it was the bug ride, where it looked like a bug. Super rare. There are only a couple in the United States.

Hopefully people will keep it a bit hush hush because I'd hate to see it get real popular which would only lead to major vandalism.

Man, you guys are posting some really cool stuff. The only thing I have is this pic of my fiance's '51 F1 as reflected in the chrome of my bike. I thought it was kinda cool...

  15. A little OT, but I guess some of you guys will like the pictures anyway. The jet fighter is aboard USS Lexington in Corpus Christi a couple of years ago, the B17 is from Duxford this summer.

I have showed these before on another post. This was my dad's jflight jacket from World War II. He was a top turret gunner on a B-24. I always thought the Knight in Armor riding a bomb was very descriptive of how many of these young men must have felt.

The place has security now because it was purchased and is slated for demo and "new development"
They recently filmed a movie there and that was how I got in. I was fortunate enough to get involved with the movies producer and supplied a car for the main character, then supplied a second matching car for an explosion scene... Pretty cool stuff. Cars are to new to post here tho

I'll try to post more pics of the park now
