i have a good runnin 62 390 caddy in my yard, and im planning on using the generator off of it on my sbc....not a generator guy, so my question is...
will there be any conflict? ill be runnin lights and gauges only on the coupe, where the caddy has everydamn thing you could think of that is electric ie: seats , windows., etc......want to make sure for i go buildin brackets and whatnot, that its not goin to be ubber powerful, and blowin fuses....:D

thats what voltage regulators are for. and you can buy small block gen mounts. also, early sbc exhaust manifolds(55-62?) have gen mounts on them.

NO !! Not on a Delco/GM Arm.[or Gen] to Bat. Power to field on GM bye-bye regulator.
