The entire car has been developed with CLOSE input from both the Burkdoll and Nish familys. It is a very stout design that the pictures don't do justice to.

I feel your pain. Our Bville project is painfully slow at the moment.

I love it. My Dad had one up until a year or so ago. The thing was awesome! Here is a pic from 2005, the last time I got to go to Bonneville. Also the last time he had the car there. We had a great time. One of the highlights of the trip was Alex Xydias coming up to check the car out!

Beautiful! That is going to be fun to finish weld -- hope you have a jig or way to nail it down! How tall is the driver? Excellent work!

  11. This body was the first one out of the Rod 'n Race mold. Bob did a great job building it.

  12. Here's some shots we took for the Rod 'n Race web site before the tank was shipped out to Kris. Note the difference, this one has the flat bottom like the SoCal tank. We developed this as an option several years after Bob's body was built.

My Dad never fails to impress me when he builds something, and the tank was no exception. I hope to be the builder he is someday. He sold it to a guy out of Texas I believe. He's back to street cars now, 49 Ford coupe and a 25 T coupe.

Great construction photos, very impressive. I have a body from Jack Kelly that I hope to get started on as soon as I finish a '36 Roadster. Keep us updated with photos.
