Inspection place at the northwest corner of Spicewood and research in N. Austin. Pretty good with older cars. Just make sure it actually will pass inspection- no bald tires, etc...
I went to the Jiffy Lube on Oltorf and I-35. "Eric" didn't want to drive my car, so asked me to drive and show him the brakes worked, etc. Then when one of my turn signal lights didn't work, he didn't charge me for the inspection (meaning I didn't have to race the clock to solve the issue). Eric's not there today (Lights working now) but they're open 7-7 on Weekdays.
Anyone know of a good place to my 10 year old Cherokee inspected in Austin? I'm NW. Last year when I did the place made me jump through hoops. Seems to really vary from place to place.
so what does it take to get an inspection on an early car like my 29 roadster just wondering.what are they looking for. billy
