    I wonder how many horsepower...

This is a chariot that turned up in Bulgaria, supposed to be 1,900 years old. I'll bet Dennis Carpenter has parts for it though...

Get some pics of the ornament up here too. Guess it couldn't be a hood ornament but still pretty cool.

Oh - he'll know...... Actually just down the road from him too.

Wouldn't it look just great in satin black with red wheels and wide whites? I think Speedway do Chinese repro parts for it.

If you look closely it apears that the skeleton from the horse that pulled it are in the dirt as well. Must have parked it and walked away like people do still.

if you read the article it was some wealthy guys tomb they are digging up. the chariot had two horses and they were both found with it, presumably sacrificed at the time of their masters death.

I'm very surprized no one has mentioned the buried plymouth in the thread yet :D

Knowing bluto, I'm sure they are sequentially numbered, documented and the paperwork was sign by Julius Caesar himself right? lol

I can picture bluto standing over the chariot wearing caesars "magic" cloak telling it to "Rise from the dead" lol

    OK that's 'Nuff :D

Yes I have a University Degree in Art History but want nothing pulled by horses save a Circus Wagon or a Vardo ....... I've been looking for a long time but not too hard or I would have one or two by now.AND if I get a wagon it will be a guest room not pulled around.

Horses stink and even as screwed up as I am I can jump over things higher without one than I can with.

Also I remember when Mark Dees' horse fell on him in a point to point race...... he never walked well after that. No fun!

And I do have a ton-0-nonHAMB stuff round here. :)

This is what we got this week to build the fireplace with 3500 of 'em :)

"Ran when parked" is the technical term here.
