    Hello, I finally joined after lurking for a few years. I 've been in to cars since the late 50's my son is X--GASSER.

    So from your moniker, should I assume that you're partial to both Corvette's and certain model's of drums made by Ludwig with see-thru shells? ;)

    Good guess - I've been playing drums and building/driving hot rods including Vettes for a long time. Finally joined the Hamb - great bunch of guys who've got the car thing right - build it and drive it.

    The Jazz band in my high school had a Vistalite Big Beat kit (the smokey blue coloured ones). First set of drums I think I ever sat down behind.
    Nowadays, I've got little bop kit from their "Classic Maple" series.
