I just brought it home yesterday. Really solid body, new box, new wiring harness, new rad, new fueul tank, brakes all done, and front end rebuilt. The part that really got me excited was the Motor....a 322 Buick Nailhead with an adaptor to the stock 3 speed. I'm really looking forward to driving it while the never ending 34 project continues.
Any early F-1 or F-100 is tough to beat in drive away condition. I think they are about the best value available for early Fords. Nice score.
Thanks for the kind words on Truck. Neat part about the story on it I think, is that I purchased it off a really nice young guy (28 years old ) who has never heard of the HAMB but is perfectly in touch with how he thinks traditional built Hot Rods should be. As soon as he had the cash from me, He was on his way to pick up a 30 Model A Tudor all original parade car, that is heading for a Flathead, split Bones Etc. Build. I told him about the HAMB, I think we might have a new member!

I went back to pickup parts that were included with the truck and was able to get a picture of the truck back when it was first came up to Canada. Apparently it was a California Truck (Built at the Long Beach Plant ) had the Nailhead installed and the fancy paint job in the 60's and then was brought up to Vancouver in 72. It then was parked in an alley in south Vancouver for 20 years until the Prior owner saved it. Heres a of Pic. Circa 1972 I wonder if any one would remember it?
Great looking truck. All this green stuff these days is okay but getting it off that truck was an big improvement. My .02
Nice truck, have a 55 with no engine, the nailhead in yours looks just right, was going to sell mine but just might look for a nailhead now! STEVE
