I love the lines. I never cared for those grills on the trucks, but it looks perfect on there. I'd be hard pressed to find anything to change on it, other than interior. I really like it the way it is. What color are you thinking of painting it?

Neat car! So what's up with the hood in the early pics? Will you put it back on, I kind of like it with the hood better. Maybe not.

Thanks! I plan on putting the hood on....but I need to stretch it a lot. I've got two model A hood tops to start with, I'll get a '32 style center hinge for it, and will use the louvers from '37 ford truck hood sides in the scratch built sides..........when I get around to it.

    Wow! Very nice car!

  19. I love it. I see the hood sides in a lot of the mock ups? Did you decide not to fit a hood?

  20. Wow! Even though there are lots of builds going on here on the HAMB, I've been particularly inspired by this one. Right now I only have a one car garage for the 38, but hopefully I'll be able to upgrade to a 2 car and start my own little Hot Rod.

As the build started, I wondered if the pickup grille and the windshield would look cool, but now that I see the finished product, I totally see your vision, and it looks awesome! I hope to see you 'round and shake your hand for a job well done!

Man it is too cool how you documented the entire build the way you did!
If you guys didn't see this thing in person you missed out!
There are sooo many really neat details that the pictures just don't show.

This is the coolest modified I have ever been around, maybe cause I was the first one to ever ride in it even if it didnt have doors yet!

    Congratulations man! Nice work!

  23. Grea little car. Congrats on getting it on the road.

I love the RGT (roadster gas tank) look.
