Putting a 302 into a 53 Merc

Can anyone tell me how to mount a 302/C4 into a 53 merc. I'd appreciate any and ALL help here.

Go to www.jamcosuspension.com they have mounts im sure. I used thier kit for a 302 AOD in my 51 Merc and worked perfect. Once you get the kit just weld and your good to go

 

Check out speedway or hot rod & kustom supply. They are bolt in ones for a 53. the mounts bolt in the stock flathead mount spot in the crossmember and use a buscuit rubber mount. The kit should run ya like 150 bucks. the trans mount is extra.
