That car is so beautiful it looks like a highly detailed model kit! I doubt it will stay in the US...seen the value of the dollar versus the yen or euro lately...this should bring huge foreign bidding. Of course when you can afford to buy cars like this I guess a few zero's on the check don't really matter.

Sixty grand won't buy that car, or it would already have a new home.
The bid's at 60,000 and there are nine days left on the auction. I bet it will be sold off site before the auction ends. Man, that car is awesome.

I think Prince should write a song about this Hot Rod. It's what a Period Perfect Hot Rod looks like in my mind, 1950-52.

I also like it best with the merc caps.

Wish I could own it...but a question I am interested in is what is he going to do next?

I also agree that it won't make the end of the auction. In fact I'm surprised it's still there. I'll go out on a limb and say it stands a really good chance of going north of $150,000. Anyone agree?
How about Larry coming on and telling us how much his deuce went for. This one is going for more. My opinion.

    Sensational car no doubt.

Why???????? I'd more worried that it gets bought and never driven.
