  4. Hey, just wondering if anybody could give me some help, Ive just got a 56 Caddy DeVille Coupe and am looking at chopping the top a couple of inches. Just wondering how do people get on with the glass? ie; cutting it down. In some of the picks here both the front and rear glass looks like cut original, but im sure both the front and rear windshields are safety glass, and I didnt think safety glass could be cut down. Please correct me if Im wrong. Any help appriciated.

"Custom" being a relative term...here are a couple progress pic's of my friend Duane's (Kiwi Konnection) '59:

The car will ultimately be candy apple red with some 20" Torq Thrusts. Blown 509, air bags...These are pics of the exhaust system we are building. "Fenderwell" headers, and the exit will be through these blisters in the front fender.

I over heard the guy with the award winning chopped 60, trying to give his car away to this nice piece of Ass. I don't think she took it though. Anyways that chopped 60 looked great when it was driven thru a living room wall.

You should have seen that first 56 caddy when it had 6 inch purple fur for the roof top.... BTW that is Stretch' s evil sedan of the Torques C.C.

I agree, I think the 60 caddys are the best looking but I am biased because I have one. Not custom yet but I have only had it a short time. Give me another year and we will see some changes!!

    My Brothers '60

It is soon going under the knife for a few very mild shaves and fills. then 3 shades darker silver so the trim will stand out more...

Looking from our Hotel room in Paso, White '62 is my dads, '60 is my brothers and the '56 is my uncles
