    I think the yellow car is more of an altered than a funny car, the red one is the first funny car I ever saw as a kid.

    The first picture is a 77 Monza, Roland Leong car.

    Which has survived to be this currently running nostalgia funny car.

    Does anyone remember (or have pics) of a Mustang funny car with an Allison V12 motor? It was called "Iron Horse", and I remember it from a Car Craft or Hot Rod in the early 70's.

    the '65 ford galaxie was built by the owner of the service center speed shops, sheldon konblatt. his cars were always out of left field, but thats what made the '60's funny cars interesting. imho

    The Ford LTD of Kornblatt was purchased from an advertising compnay who used it in a Ford commercial. It was a fibberglass shell that was used as a mock up of a real sedan, and then placed atop a rock platue in the desert. Alas, Kornblatt was later fatally injured in his 2nd flopper, the Snoopy Jaguar
