    PLEASE post those plans .I got my contract today and am looking forward to getting my daily driver and the hot rod started.AT THE SAME TIME? Yeah at the same time,Ive got to the point it is going to be aluminum over a wood buck with a steel frame for support.Saw a Ron Covell book today and I can do that.I think I was worried about not having a lot of metel working equipage at home.

    I made one 6-4 chop 4" channel 3" section compound curves on 32 cowl check my profile let me know what you think

  6. That car was featured in Street Rodder years ago,that Mryrtle wood is very exotic looking stuff. Here's some more of the modified.

    Rustnpz & Woodyford, I'm a custom finish carpenter/fabricator for a museum exhibit co. and both those are AWESOME! I'd love to see alot more of both.

    I talked to this guy at turkey rod run a few years ago. He used some cheap station wagon for the engine and rear, etc. I think he was a boat cabinet guy. If I remember right he only had like $6000 in the whole car.

    I sure do I can build the body out of wood but not smart enough to down size my files If you want I can email you some the dash is pretty cool over 150 pieces of wood in it. thanks for the thumbs up

    Roadster, Just think of it as a Model 40 Sportsman.

    I'm usually not a big fan of home built woodies, though I usually love the real thing, but yours looks perfect from what I can see. Keep us posted.
