You win - I love it. My next car has to be a '35/'36 roadster.

Weemark, i have a few pics too large and the system wont let me upload them, I spoke to one of the previous owners, he found it in garage in the 60's, bought and restored, it was involved in a garage fire a few years after being restored and was sold for salvage after the fire, some one probably got a steal and repaired it, it wound up in the garage of a local car nut who just didnt have time for the project where my dad bought it because he knew I was looking for one, I bought the car pretty much as is, its flathead powered and runs great! i have no plans to change it now, but maybe in the future a taildragger with a packard grill like the beautiful black roadster in this thread

in your earlier post there is a pic of a 35 roadster, are the signal lights on the fenders a euro thing or an aftermarket add on?? i've never seen any like them, there really cool

blaknblue the lights on the fenders are sidelights or marker lights - not sure what you guys call them. the signal lights/turn signals or semaphores are the square looking boxes on the cowl just in front of the door hinges. they are ford pieces - i can probably get another couple of sets of them as i know where there are a few.

cool story about the 3w - its a nice looking car.

That's cool.... I like the original look. It gives them some contrast, and that's how they were.

Are you going to leave this as a 35 (based on the front clip that's on there)?

Looks like this car has some SERIOUS potential and your 36 coupe is nice too!!

i guess i really didnt know there were that many 35's and 36's out there.i just picked up a 35 2dr slant last fall. lots of good stuff allready done but had an gold chainers look to it . i have been slowly putting back to a more trad look. going away from the wood grant wheel, bullet hole decals and chrome directional wheels . hope to post a pick of it soon. i am lookingfor a stock dash and p[air of headlamp lenes. please PM me if ya got any leads........

    I'm in!

My 36 5W is still in pieces in my mom's garage... but its coming home and work will continue soon (was on hiatus after my dad passed away).

My Dad bought the car when he was 18 for $60 and it has been sitting high and dry stored inside for over 30 years. Needless to say I reluctantly inherited it (I would have rather seen him build it and drive it).
