model a sedan gas cap ideals????

    I am left with no choice but to mount my fuel cell inside the car behind the seats. However,I am cluless for any really cool ideals has to what type of gas cap to mount on the outside of the body.So if a few of you creative folks could post a few pics i would be very thankfull i am not trying to copy just to get an ideal on a start UPFRONT THANKS
     
  2. Look at some of the Poly tanks at www.overtons.com they are a boat supplier but some of the tall skinny tanks will still leave you some rear seat room. I think they also have some caps listed as well.

    Try Speedway, they have ton's of caps & fill tubes & all that in their catolouge, you could try their website, speedwaymotors.com .

    those cap look great.So do you think i should mount the cap on the side of the car are on the back of the roof thanks

    Here is a rear shot of my sedan. The cap is a repop of a kris kraft boat gas cap.

    I always thought the Crime Scene Choppers gas cap would look good on a hot rod.

    If you have a aircraft surplus store in your area there are always cool options there.

    i have a gas cap that sell for 100.00 it is flush and the hole id 1 1/2 in diameter you push in and give it a quarter turn and screw it out 3 turns it look cool and it is flush

    what about higher mounted '50 Pontiac taillights, one of which is hinged to access cap? That would look slick...........

    I used the neck, and cap from a 70's Chevy half ton truck
