I want to thank you guys here on the Hamb for your thoughts and prayers, and to let you know Steve is doing very well now . All tests came out good and he is starting to come around so we expect a full recovery. You guys are the best....Lynn
Count me in! I will include Steven and his family in my prayers for a complete recovery. My daughter totaled her car about a year ago in a one car accident, so I know the anxiety that Steven's family is going thru. It ain't easy and it ain't pretty, but prayers do help.
Lynn, We send best wish's !! Was he in the Roadtser ?? I worry about that as i am almst finished with my daughters '27 Roadster ....
wow, I remeber seeing that car really nice... I would pray that your family has peace and Steve makes a full recovery!
All I know is he was driving a Toyota with the cars owner as a passenger. She only got banged up a little and went home the same day. No other cars involved. We'll find out the whole story later. Thanks again to all you Hambers....L.B.
I will pray for Steven and keep him in my thoughts and heart. I believe in the power of prayer and have seen many miracles over the years... Please keep us posted on his progress and let us know if he needs anything.
I remember almost 20 years ago bringing home an award Steven had won at one of the Goodguys model car contests to him. And was very excited for him when he finished the '29 Lynn started and did all the major fab work on. I'm REALLY looking forward to future projects we can all work on together! Get well Steven, Jim
How is he? Please post updates. Did he come out of coma? You mentioned a broken neck... Is there damage to the spine? I have been thinking about him a lot and praying too. Let us know his progress.
Update is that it looks like Steven will eventually make a full recovery. His neck was fractured but no spinal damage or paralysis- everything still works! He is being kept under just to help him heal and so he does not have to deal with the pain. He has woken up confused and they gave him more medicine for his own good. Thank you everyone for your concern- it has meant a lot to his family. Thanks again, Jim
Upset to hear of the accident, but glad to hear that the prognosis looks good, hope he makes a perfect recovery- Hang in there Lynn!
Our prayers are with Steven and his family. We ask that the Lord would give his doctors wisdom in all of his injuries.
Just got back from the hospital and he's getting better each day, now at 95% recovery chance. Maybe I will be able to sleep better now. The Hamb support is extremely appreciated, and I will thank everyone I can soon. Next year we'll be working on his roadster ....L.B.
