Well, not that old at 51. Had some cool cars. Hung on to one of them: a 67 Sunbeam Tiger. Sold a low mile, near perfect 69 Hemi Super Bee during the first gas crunch for $3600.... and then bought a new Volkswagon Rabbit for 8k!
I expect to join the rat rod fraternity one of these days. Looking forward to some great exchanges on H.A.M.B.

Welcome. Keep in mind that we don't use the term rat rod here.

I think we have all had some neat rides when the prices were right. I was in Hawaii for 3 years in the 60's. My daily driver was a 65 Sunbeam Tiger. Sold it for $1200 when I left in 1970.

Good luck and again WELCOME !

Hi, thanks for the welcome. It was my understanding "rat rod" was derived from the Rat Fink character. A caricature I have kind of identified with over the years... Lone Wolf might also apply.
Anyhow glad to be part of the H.A.M.B.
