Nice job. That didn't start out as a Cadillac model kit, did it? I'm not aware of one out there. Looks like you may have created it from a Chevy. If so, great work on the fins, etc. How 'bout some info on the build. I think this Model Car Sunday thing is gonna be pretty cool. Maybe give some folks some great ideas for the 1:1 stuff!

This is a one off model of the De Dietrich which ran the "Race for Death"
    1903 Paris-Madrid race.

A model of each of the surviving cars from this race were made nearly 100 years ago

Here's a short story of the race:

and the model I own :)

    Enjoy the day

There's also a resin chopped fastback Cadi custom that's cast by Freeman Cars. You can contact him at [email protected], but he probably won't be back in town until after SEMA is over.

Comes with grille, bumpers, interior, dash and the body:

This is a body, with only a rough clean-up of flash after it's been pulled from the mold. These are actually really clean castings.

I built the intake for my deaths doorstep replica and mocked it up on the engine. The scoops still need to be shortened and canted to the side slightly. I also adapted the 12 spoke wheels to a revell front axel while still enabling it to have positionable wheels(not in the pic)

any of you model car guys know where I can get a 61-2 chrysler kit?
I want to do a model of the pink freak, and I would hate to have to spend $40 on a kit for just the front clip.
Also any one do a resin 59 merc kit?

Here's a repeat of what my wife bought at an auction about 2 weeks ago. Some kid in the 60's probably had a ball building these.

I have a few hot rod models that were made from the early sixties through the early seventies. Most are opened, but complete. Should I build 'em or keep 'em unbuilt?

Not exactly a model, I just got this from a friend Vince Mosley. He is currently doing a 57 Nomad for me in this style.

Hey guys, need some help. I am looking for just the body and doors for one of the Revell T tudors. Any one got one they are willing to sell or swap?? Maybe a swap for the same in 30 tudor??
I finally dragged some of my stuff out of storage today so hope to be building again soon, I just need that T body for the project that inspired the re-start to building!!
    Thanks guys
