If they don't have to be actual knock offs, J.C. Whitney has these. I put some on the center caps of a '97 F150. They look pretty slick. pigpen

Do you need a left or right hand thread single, a pair or a set of 4. What size diameter thread?

If you are looking for real knockoff wing nuts they are available from Trico Engineering and PS Engineering. I have them on 2 of my cars and they appear to be the same as the old real knockoffs that Halibrand used to sell.

  12. I have a couple of these Halibrand identical lookalikes. They have centers in them....I machined the centers out of these. I need to keep one....also for a fuel cap.

    P.M. me with an offer.

I too am looking for some used knock off nuts. They don't need to be pretty as they'll be on a vintage race car.

Need a pair 2-5/8" thread. One left handed and one right handed.

P.S. I like the gas cap idea!

everything you could ever need for a HOT ROD will eventually show up on ebay.

  16. Here's what I'll use for a fuel cap. The one on the left is an original Halibrand for 2 5/8" thread. The one on the right is the "fake". It has a 5/8" long hub on the backside that fits the I.D. of 2 1/2" schedule 40 pipe. I'll attach the K.O. to the pipe with three socket head setscrews.

Does anybody know where it came from ?
