i'm looking for a halibrand style knock off spinner? does not have to be a halibrand. anyone know off a source? thanks
Halibrand, I am sure they would sell you one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Orig...oryZ6763QQihZ016QQitemZ260084914609QQtcZphoto
i have treid them for three day! NO answer and no returned calls. also no return from e-mail. are these people doing anything. i would use about any brand. just looking for one. (cast)
If they don't have to be actual knock offs, J.C. Whitney has these. I put some on the center caps of a '97 F150. They look pretty slick. pigpen
If you are looking for real knockoff wing nuts they are available from Trico Engineering and PS Engineering. I have them on 2 of my cars and they appear to be the same as the old real knockoffs that Halibrand used to sell.
i'm just looking for one to make a fuel cap out of. i really like the look of the halibrand low knock offs. i might get one of the one from ET?anyone have just one???????
I have a couple of these Halibrand identical lookalikes. They have centers in them....I machined the centers out of these. I need to keep one....also for a fuel cap. P.M. me with an offer.
I too am looking for some used knock off nuts. They don't need to be pretty as they'll be on a vintage race car. Need a pair 2-5/8" thread. One left handed and one right handed. P.S. I like the gas cap idea!
Here's what I'll use for a fuel cap. The one on the left is an original Halibrand for 2 5/8" thread. The one on the right is the "fake". It has a 5/8" long hub on the backside that fits the I.D. of 2 1/2" schedule 40 pipe. I'll attach the K.O. to the pipe with three socket head setscrews. Does anybody know where it came from ?
