Out of all the cars I have owned the Cadillacs have always driven the best , talking of the 1950,s has anyone else noticed this. They are without doubt the best car produced in the 50,s......

1957 and up Chryslers get my vote... torsion bars and eccentric rear leaf springs are hard to beat...... The Eldorado I had seemed to float around too much for my taste. my two cents.

chrysler had torsion bar but no padding in the seats also steering wheel position was slightly tilted and not comfortable whilst cruising

I'd put my 49 Hudson Commodore or any of the stepdown Hudsons
48-54 up against the Cads for ride & drive. Of course I am biased,
even though I lust for Slick50's Cad.

I never had one from the 50's but I have a late model that is the most fun to drive car I have ever owned period.

Our Caddy is a pretty smooth drive and ride I must say. Thanks for the compliment on our Caddy Ramblur.
Will we see you at the Turkey Rod Run?
