I just got back from attending the Hot Rod Revolution with my girl. Despite the cold weather and a little light rain there was a pretty good turn out and some great cars. Here's some pics.

Some very nice cars at the shindig. Matts car with the blown flathed and the silver coupe with 6 carbs and blower are too fine.

  7. Damm......

    Who owns/built this?

Where has it been? Or was it a debut?

Awesome detail, love the rear shocks & the front spring mount in the grill.

  8. Okay hardware, I'm gonna jack your thread with my own pics. It sucked that the weather was a little dodgy but it was still a bunch of fun.

it was there last year. The engine/ tranny is an Alfa Romeo unit. everything else is all v8-60 sized miget stuff.

  11. Jim Stroup originally had that built... I think by Brizio's... the first time I saw it was at the GNRS's 50th anniversary at the cow palace damn near a decade ago.

  14. Thanks to both of you for posting pictures. It's a good mix of car shots and artier (for the lack of a better term) ones. Singley's truck looks good. It's nice to see 33-6 Fords.

Great pics! What is this "cold weather" you speak of? It's still in the 90's everyday here.

did anyone get some more pictures of this car, it left just as I got there...

  30. A32flathead, I believe that modified was in Street Rodder several years back. The spring perch through the grill stuck with me. I also think it has a Fiat sports car engine (?), looks a little like an Offy.
