I just got back from attending the Hot Rod Revolution with my girl. Despite the cold weather and a little light rain there was a pretty good turn out and some great cars. Here's some pics.
thanks for taking the time to post yer pics. I thought it would be pouring rain since it was raining here so I didn't go
Some very nice cars at the shindig. Matts car with the blown flathed and the silver coupe with 6 carbs and blower are too fine.
Damm...... Who owns/built this? Where has it been? Or was it a debut? Awesome detail, love the rear shocks & the front spring mount in the grill.
Okay hardware, I'm gonna jack your thread with my own pics. It sucked that the weather was a little dodgy but it was still a bunch of fun. taking a picture of cab taking a picture!?! a little bit of cab's handiwork,,, it was pretty awesome for those who didn't see it! I really dug this dodge two door sedan with the hemi... looked like the engine was original!
Debut: '99/'00 Builder: Roy Brizio On cover of Street Rodder around same time. It has an Alfa Romeo DOHC 4
it was there last year. The engine/ tranny is an Alfa Romeo unit. everything else is all v8-60 sized miget stuff.
Jim Stroup originally had that built... I think by Brizio's... the first time I saw it was at the GNRS's 50th anniversary at the cow palace damn near a decade ago.
Thanks to both of you for posting pictures. It's a good mix of car shots and artier (for the lack of a better term) ones. Singley's truck looks good. It's nice to see 33-6 Fords. Kurt
Great pics , i like the interior & exterior of this A , check out the steering wheel .....i like different !!.........The deck lid is tough , there big louvers..
I hate my stupid job. It prevents me from doing what I really love to do... go to shows like this one. One day.. Spike
Thanks for the great time, I didn't take a single picture. Also thanks for the compliments ( mine's the Singley AV8)
Excellent Show!! Thanks to the Cochrans and the Tardells for putting together a Hot Rod show with out all the Bullshit Cars, slutty half naked girls, and greasers with shitboxes and bad attitudes,,, Quality not Quantity. I'll be there again next hopfully with the Coupe... The Revolution will be in MFS 5 aswell.. And props to my fellow club member and good pal Aaron Von Mindin for dragin his coupe out all the way from Ventura... You get the Mad Fab long distance award evel
A32flathead, I believe that modified was in Street Rodder several years back. The spring perch through the grill stuck with me. I also think it has a Fiat sports car engine (?), looks a little like an Offy.
