Great news about Andy be allowed to come for a med. visit to the US.
In mentioning books in the above post, I was recalling reading Henry Gregor Felsen's "stories of cars and high school" 1. Crash Club 2. Hot Rod 3. Road Rocket, If he appreciates myth, epic and road story it's hard to beat Pirsig's Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. About a father and son's road trip and the connections and mystery realized within.
Hope all is going well, thanks for the posting of Andy's and the car's progress.
