Bone Daddy; Mitch's piece captures the real nostalgic feel perfectly.

    Norwell, FlyingPolock, Jigger, EVERYONE,
you all make this the most varied and excellent
display of talent on the web.
I look forward to it every week.

This isn't mine but it was drawn for me by Cory Vaughn here on the HAMB, it's my '60 F100 done up like a custom merc. My picture doesn't do it justice. he also sent me some of his other prints along with this one. Amazing work!

Found a couple more photos of Pinewood cars... The 32 Roadster was actually the first car we did several years ago, it was not too bad considering it was the first one. I think they have gotten better over the years.

  13. Just found this thread;was wondering where the Art Show was. This week was busy but had no camera with me.This little project is still on-going for a show we're having in town the beginning of October.
Jane Callison of ididit supplied the car which will be auctioned off to benefit a local charity.

  15. The pine wood cars inspired me to post one more. All but the lotus were raced with the Cub Scouts. The black car beat them all the year it raced (Tho on illegal axles. Oh well, it was Ian's first try.) The yellow car beat them all this year. (all legal.) I helped the boys some but then desided I'd build my own, which explanes the Lotus. It couldn't beat a thing last year but this year it took out the winner. Wierd. It features Monogram fenders out back and popcycle sticks up front. Sorry I didn't make thumbnails, I'll figure that out some day...

well it ain't friday no more but i got a few things i've done over the past several weeks. just some doodles i did in my down time at work (in a factory). tattoo flash type stuff i did for my girlfriend. the there is the scrap metal palm tree i made her. she loves palm trees. :D i was so excited when i thought up the idea about the palm tree that i whipped it out in about 2 hours.

oh yeah. and the mail box i painted up for her after her mail lady took out her old one with the mirror of her car.

Been here for years, just never seem to post much. Sorry to disappoint you Monkey but you still only know 1 bloke called tootall.

    Yep, that's Maurice's T - his clubmates commissioned(sp?) a painting for his 60th birthday.

  23. heya rollie...im still learning the hatred that is painting in the hot sun on windy days.....im still pretty slow..and a perfectionist...so i hate striping at car shows......ends up taking me all day to do 1 or two cars....hence..i hardly go....im getting quicker though..and in time ill feel more comfortable....

plus i way under charge....my own falt....

i been doing a few bike shows...but still.....i give out deals if people just bring me the tins..haha

im sure ill see ya at the jan show again...and the detroit one this year..
