So many posts here, hell I may have posted this already. 1926-1927 Ford Model T closed-car doors. Lots of T's and 28-29 A Pickups could be built, if only for the lack of good doors. I'd like to work on the tooling.

  4. Eventually the manufacturer get to a "close enough, not going on my car" point and they start production.[/quote]

Exactly! When I saw this question I was gonna say, if they are gonna make it, please make it correctly, and several of you apparently had the same reaction....

Stainless and Chrome for all makes and models up till the 60's.

Hell I'd be happy if they would still use metal trim on new cars.

muli (2 barrel) carb intakes for SBF. Plenty of SBF motors out there, but original multi carb intakes are really hard to come by and cost more than the whole engine when you do.

No.....just that the repops are wider than originals and the centers aren't accurate (not a big deal if caps are used)....
Being wider and aluminum may be a big plus for the Bonneville racers.....

What I would like to see reproduced are parts that look right, fit right and work properly.
Why put out the effort to make parts that are *almost* right when it would only take a little more effort to do it right?

I read the first item was to be the '40 dash. However I spec dies smaller than a breadbox and they cost $10K-$30K so I think the rest might not happen.

Koolman, mentioned 30-31 drip rails. That is a good one. Also 28-31 steel sedan drip rails, instead of the aluminum you form kits they are pushing.
