How to tell when headers TOO close to paint?

    would recommend some slight turnouts at the end to direct the black residual soot from building up on the car ??

  3. Ditto. No header wrap. Go with the coating or heat shield first.

    i'd be more worried about the fiberglass body melting than the paint....:D

    We just got some copper colored header wrap in at the shop. Might be a neat idea if you decide to go that route.
