The Starliner is finally making progress thanks to Alex and the guys at Gambino Kustoms. In the meantime, I sent a cherry replacement steering wheel I bought to PearlCraft in Australia for their hand-done pearl treatment. Lee just sent me pics of it. She said it received even a few more coats of clear after these shots were taken.

It should be here in a week or two. I can't wait to see it with the matching door panel inserts and dash inserts. The chip next to it is what I sent them to match.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share because I feel like Christmas is coming.

Check out more of their wares at http://pearlcraft.com.au/before_and_after.htm

Got any pix of the rest of the Starliner? I remember almost buying one for $600 when I was in high school.

Here's the last photo of it before it went to Alex's. It will soon be abalone flake with candy blue panels around the stainless and chrome trim, 4-corner AirRide, all new interior, drawer pull grille and more.

Nice KIRK! the first time i spotted that 60 at the Long Beach swap i thought it was a NICE car but greatly disliked the wheels choice, it looked bland, you took it and are continuing to take it to the next level!!! can't wait to see its progress!!

Kirk. Always "one up" in the automotive fashion world. So I guess you found who and what you are going with on your interior now? KNUX!

Wow, that looks awesome! How durable is the finish supposed to be?

  21. Damm Kirk, thats SPARKLY!!

  22. Those pearled steering wheels do look ace.

A Question though I don't see too many pearled steering wheels in the US weren't they available? or is it a British/Commonwealth thing?

  23. I'm surprised they don't do them "stateside"...?
They look amazing in the flesh too.....

That looks awesome. How long did it take? Why can't anyone in the US or (why isn't anyone in the US) doing this?

I remember the post awhile back ago about it. Didn't someone else get one done there too?

That could possibly be the coolest thing I ever saw. Gonna look great on the car- I would be very interested in more pics, interior etc.
