cool pics, man! anybody have a magnet from the show that they don't want? had a rocker kick sideways, broke a pushrod and scrubbed the side of the valve off and spent the whole morning at the mcdonald's just off of 71 fixing it and they were out when i got there a little after noon... i wouldn't give a shit but i've got the ones from the previous three shows on the damned glovebox lid. good time nonetheless, and a great place to break down. booboo's buddy dan found me file inside to fix the valve stem, some total strangers went to NAPA to get a couple of rocker arms for me since jegs would only sell a set, only two blocks from jegs where we got the pushrods. not bad all things considered. i wish i coulda been there when dan tried to get one of the chevy parts vendors to sell him a pushrod from their cutaway engine for me. "no, but he really needs it, he's broke down outside! you don't need it, this engine doesn't run, it's missing half the block!" made it home fine and everything.
I cant believe the amount of cars that was there saturday!! I think this was the biggest event so far in columbus. Nice pics
Those are some good pictures. I had a great time but my back and legs took a beating walking for hours on end around the show. Wonder if it's to much to ask for GoodGuys to cover the entire show grounds in gym padding.
