i have a 98' olds intrigue and the front sway bar is cracked on both sides where it mounts into the bushings...is it possible to just pull the bar and weld up the cracks or is this a specially treated steel and welding will have undesired results?
    thanks guys

That swaybar is probably spring steel, I wouldn't weld it. Check the salvage yards, it was probably used on many different makes and models of GM stuff, should be easy to find.
