i have tried a few place like eastwood and granger and my local paint stores..tring to find a 2.0 and a 3.0 for my finish line paint gun..anyone know where i can order tips and rods thanks
www.autobodydepot.com Sells them. As an FYI last I knew for the Devilbiss Finishline they only do up to a 2.2 fluid tip. I've shot monster flake out of that prior with no problems, so I'm kind of curious why the need for a 3.0? I know they do a 1.8, but not sure on a 2.0. And I know for a fact they also do a 2.2 as I have 2 of them for shooting monster flake.

maybe thetoolwarehouse.net or autobodytoolmart.com , I think 2.2 is the biggest tip devilbiss makes. good luck
upol reface calls for a 2.0 or 3.0..its a sprable filler...paint guy said he would recomend 3.0 for spraying ...
does anyone know if redrilling the 1.4 tip to a bigger size would work out for me?..and also what would 2.5 or 3.0 drill bit size would that be?..tring to get this project finished up this weekend..reason im in a rush..i can always order a 1.4 later when i have the time to wait..let me know if this is possible..thanks
2.0 is plenty big for spray filler. i have a 2.0 and I feel its too big sometimes and I spray polyester filler all the time. you cant drill out the tip, the needle would still be the same size and it would just spray like shit even if you could.
i wasnt thinking of the needle..dont you hate when you have goal set for the weekend and something small like this screws it up for ya..oh well i guess i will do it the old fashion way... filler and spreader thanks man
have you ever used upol reface..i havent , the paint dude said it was great stuff..im working on my faternlaws 53 chevy truck that has alot of hail damage and the normal dings..its not gonna be painted for awhile so i dont think shrinkage is gonna be a problem
I use a 2.0 for primer and have another for flake, Never needed anything bigger, Definitly don't drill out. Steve.
i used a home depot husky siphon pot for the spray poly there cheap and work well and your weekend wont be shot
If you have a Harbor Freight nearby, go and get one of there cheapie guns for this. I 've got one just for primer-filler and they work good for that. Don't waste your good finish gun on crap like that.
I would recommend a 2.0 as well. I have one gun for primers/sealers, a Sata KLC 1.7 and antoher cheapie for flakes and high build/fillers with a 2.0. Never had any problems with either. I am 99% Devilbiss goes only to a 2.2 as well.
