So the end of last month I got some info on here from OGNC, Bad Bob and Tetanus Shot to go to Sean Murphy at SMI Carburetion. Boy were they right. I have never been so impressed in my life at the work they do there. I dropped off my Carb and Sean called me a hour later and asked if I wanted just a rebuild or if I wanted my carb to look New. I told him just a rebuild. Today i went and picked up my carb and if this is just a rebuild then i am curious how the New look could be any better. I am telling you if you need your carb done this is the guy to go to. No one is paying me or anything to give you his info I am just so dang impressed I want to share his info with every one

I had a kit for my carb when I dropped it off. He does really quality work. Its not a repaint of the carb either. I don't know how he did it.

I don't know how he does it. It must be Voodoo who knows but its awesome. I still want to know what the "New" condition rebuild would look like. I don't see how it could look any better.

You know I don't know. You should give him a call I think his shop closes at 5 or 6 pm pacific time. I am sure he would do that but I cant say for sure. Hell a mod on here should get in touch with him and make him a alliance vendor PLEASE

Well when i am done with my wiring I will let you know. Tetanus Shot or OGNC on the HAMB (sorry i cant remember who) had him re-do carbs and said they worked great. This guy knows his stuff. Right when i pulled up to get my carb some one came up in a 50 something Suburban and was praising the guy on his work and how good his car was running.

Hm, they do good work. Might have to give them some of my basket cases.

  12. I'd guess glass bead or tumbled in a deburring machine, but either way it looks great

I came accross this thread and I can't recommed Sean Murphy Induction enough. It seems today it is getting harder and harder to find not-crappy parts for our cars and someone who knows how to perform specialty jobs (like carb rebuilding and tuning) that work right the first time. http://www.smicarburetor.com/
