Looks great. Really like the sunken taillights & license plate.

Very nice, good job. Dark classic color is the way to go.

I love it... folowed the built up closely.. and looking foreward to each new update.

I always thought the 37-39 Chevy running boards where to thin, so I replaced them with some Ford (photoshop) units...

    Again, thanks all.

squigy - Sounds like you're making some good progress. Get an update thread up for us.

Assguy - That'll be cool as hell cruisin with the Scotty's this summer, even cooler parked in the gypsy camp! haha

Rikster - Thanks for the colorizing. Dave (Assguy) is always busting my ass about the multicolor primer and rust on it, it drives him nuts!
I'm going to be running stock style rubber on the boards so that will thicken it up a little, but your right about them being thin.

TRAVEZ - Yea, the plate is behind glass. There were quite a few period cars that ran the plates like that and I really like the look. There's a couple of real small LED's to light the plate that you can't see at all but do the job. Having a lighted plate is a big thing for the cops around this area.

As far as flipping the spears, thanks for the comments and photoshop and it does look nice flipped (when it's run higher on the sides like in the picture). For the overall look I was after, I needed to lower the spears to be in line with the headlights. I also wanted the peak of the hood and lines to stand above the other lines of the fenders, etc, remember streamliner. With the spears down where they are and flipped, the louvers get way too close to the bottom of the hood sides. When I cut the spears out and looked at doing flipping them to make the job easier, I didn't like the overall look...but thanks for caring. haha
