What carb base does a rochester 4GC have?

    I'm assuming the small 4bbl pattern. What modern carbs will fit this pattern? I had one of these I think on my '56 caddy, but never tried to fit anything else on the manifold.

    625 CFM Carter AFB is recommended on some Olds sites

    it's it own critter. and edelbrock will physically bolt on, but the holes don't get anywhere near lining up.

    however...there is light at the end of the tunnell, Oh My Brother!

    our friends at Speedway offer an adapter-Part number 135 1935

    they are pretty much the only game in town, but it is a whopping 14.95 plus shipping.

    put a holley on it and let 'er rip, tater chip.
