I'm sure we've all said --if I was rich and could afford anything, I would have a dream garage filled with cars. I think mine might look something like this, not sticking to one style of car, but instead having a variety. What do you guys think your dream garage would be full of?

    Nice work!!
My garage wouldn't look like that though.
If the car was done. It would be neatly tucked in the back on top of a lift but you surely wouldnt see a shinny floors or brightly lit rooms.
My work area would be 25 foot high with two lifts and two or three work bays full of parts, disassembled cars and lots of dirt. You'd need sunglasses to enter. If you worked under a car, the lighting would be so bright and well postioned you wouldnt need a treble light to see .
    Something like this one..

room. I'd have a huge complex with areas for each function... fab... paint and body... mechanical. Plenty of room for all of my HAMB friends to come over and work on their rides.

  5. mine would have the Danger Danger crew in it:p

  6. Nice '37 Petejoe.I think I'd need that in my dream garage

I'm in the process of building a workshop. I got fed up with laying in the dirt in the back yard, and having to use a tree limb with a come-along to hoist engines. The dimensions will be 28' wide by 36' long by 12' high. It'll have a steel I beam across the middle for both support and an engine hoist. This should give me enough room to work on a my 52 F1 and the wife can work on her 70 F100. I figured on doing all the building, and have a friend pour the cement pad. The materials will cost me about $3500. That's a cheap out for a building that size.

Doesn't everyone build to scale first THEN build full size?

The Hamber ''youngbuck'' is going to like that one.
He's our ''bedroom blow up'' we threw a pair of coveralls on for the picture.
    He's a greaser anyway.

In real life, the '55 would have put the coupe back on the trailer.

Ok Quit It !!! How Bout A Nightmare Garage!

  28. twochops......That's the back of my garage but it's not even close to my dream garage. I envy the guys who have nice big barns for shops. Mine is a 2 car garage that had some added to the end and a carport down the side. It's pretty much full of stuff. Size is the limiting factor so it's probably better that I don't have a barn.
