it looks like a kustom corvette i remember seeing in one of my little books, i don't remember which, though...
I know one thing it's locked in my shop and you may never see it again!! HAHAHAH (insert evil laugh here)
ill give some details later. i got to give a big thanks to daddyo54 for helping me get it. yes i own this car!!!! i am sooo in love!!! its not going to be at PnP. will be at the roundup though.
ok, I'm curious...what kind of material is used in places like the "openings" behind the doors and in the rear taillight section...that ribbed stuff you always see on old customs has always had me stumped since I've never seen it in person...is it some sort of handmade formed paneling, or something you can buy and trim to fit?... it's amazing how small that car looks, compared to the magazine pictures...and I'm just happy to see that it doesn't appear to have changed at all over the years, unlike most customs that are constantly under the knife...congrats on hauling that bad boy home, but I still think it looks like a '68 Shelby Camaro Monza R/T...hahaha
well the car was built in 1956 by a man named henry mccormack. its made from fiberglass. the windshield is a 55 tbird. the workmanship on this car is amazing.
"you have less than a week to make it to P&P" that should be no problem as long as i drop it of at rustys...haha.... "holy crap man! who do i gotta knock off to get something like that? haha" funny you say that cause i thought i was gonna have to knock of the last owner to get it..... "you got the top for it????" no, the top is long gone.... i dont realy care for the way it looks anyhow....
Too COOL Scrape!! Looks like a 40 ford frame based on the unsplit wishbones and the front axle. Cant wait to see it in person
