    Hi,
does anyone have an original article or source that documents that lowering of the rear axle by blocks is period correct or that such were used back then?
This would help me lot with the registration of my ride.
Am looking for some documentation for the inspection (which is rediculously strict here in Germany).

    Thanks!

If they won't accept that for the article, remove the blocks, have it inspected then reinstall.

Even with an article this is going to be a tough sell.

I used a NOS Fenton lowering block kit (LK4) on my '53 Ford. They were made specifically for '49-'54 Ford cars.
