Yanks invaded Victoria Thursday and Friday. Always, for us, a novelty driving on to a boat. 20250718_121944.jpg 20250718_124540.jpg
The Chateau Victoria was first class for our dirty fingernail bunch.

We were off at Oh Dark Thirty to stage for Sunday's main event. We were set up by about 5:00am and looking for coffee. What a spectacular venue!

I never get tired of lookin at pictures so a few more, more or less in chronologic order overlapping Tim's previous postings but hopefully providing a different view or of different cars. 20250721_091309.jpg

And Ed jumped on the opportunity to memorialize a couple of recent less than pleasant events documented in Tim's earlier post. This panel in Ed's shop records most of the visitors from previous and the current NWDDs.

Nice video Eddie - rounding those turns and staying upright!
I was the busted fan car driver. The fan came - at 6:30 AM on Sunday, the day of the big show. I should ad that Terry had an hand in getting me a new fan delivered on Sunday morning! That’s a Curmudgeon- going all out to help solve a problem. After MikeIver overcame the mismatched mounting holes etc I was able to get my Plymouth into the closed perimeter of the show and parked close to the rest of the gang.

I've tried to layer in more pics that respect the chronology of the trip but,....I've lost track  Seems if I modify an image, like cropping, it goes back into my files at a diff. place. So here are a bunch more of random images I like. Hope you enjoy clicking thru them.
First night, this was the front desk person. Everything was "virtual",...even issuing the room key. He was in Bolivia

The colours in some of these photos make 'em look just like '60s or '70s post cards!

Wow, that looks like fun! I met one of your curmudgeons at a show Saturday here in Vancouver (USA not BC).

He lives locally and regaled me with stories of his adventures North of the border this year.

  12. Indeed that is Dennis Parker (aka Denny) and his '32 5 window. He also has a very nice '40/ '41 Ford pick up.
