Event Coverage SLO POKS UPTOWN CRUISE 2025

I wondered why they were two blocks south forever, then suddenly took off at a trot. I had a good position, but got tired and sat down. Meantime my car got surrounded by people wanting a look at the horses, and I lost my spot I had before.

 

Hey- for a change I had the only '57 F 100 there.

 

Spooky, where the heck did you park? Kim told me you were at our cars at some point but I didn't find you or the truck.

Hi Billy, the owner of that little 32 Truck is one of our members Tom Dement. That truck has been a hot rod for most of it's life and belonged to several Poks Members over the years.

I fell in love with that pickup at the show, loved the corvette dual quad small block in it.

That's @Kim Strobeck 's Model A "tall boy" ahead of me on Main Street in that pic. He is sporting his new hood top he built prior to Deuce Days. He lost the hood sides so you can see the 8BA in all it's beauty and used a HF metal break he bought to roll the edges of the hood under. Used leather straps to secure it. Nice look Kim.

yeah I was parked in front of the tip top and when the horses came up I couldn’t even get near my truck to even take pictures in the first pass.
